The excitement and fun of flying free under a balloon completely on your own securely fastened in a comfortable seat has been just a dream for most people up until now. Designed with special attention to safety, security and comfort, The Solo gives you everything that you have come to expect from an Ultramagic balloon but with all the benefits of a simple to operate light weight one person system.

The Solo pilot support system:
Constructed from an aircraft quality stainless steel frame.
* Designed for secure attachment of cylinder whilst maintaining easy removal for transportation or refuelling.
* Allows the installation of either 20kg or 30kg cylinders.
* Fitted with a comfortable adjustable padded seat, footrest and headrest.
* Easy to use three-point safety harness with quick release buckle.
* Burner frame can be easily removed for transportation and storage.
* Burner frame offers gimbal of the burner to assist with that windy inflation. Once the balloon is upright and ready to go one can apply the simple safety lock to secure the burner in the upright position during flight and landing.

The Solo burner and fuel system:
With the Solo one can now have all the security of a double burner system with a lightweight one-person single cylinder balloon.
* Genuine dual systems just like most basket balloons.
* Genuine dual systems just like most basket balloons.
* Two separate fuel take offs from the cylinder with their own additional quick shut off valve at the burner.
* Two main burner valves.
* Two liquid fire valves.
* Two pressure gauges.
* Two liquid pilot lights each with its own piezo igniter system.
The Solo fuel system also has another unique feature - a fuel reserve in a single cylinder. This still allows you to enjoy your flight whilst keeping an eye on your fuel gauge in the specially designed mirror. However by flying on the right hand valves you know when fuel runs out on this side you still have 15% left in the cylinder using the left hand system to make a safe landing. And if all of these special features are not enough you also have the option of having a hydraulic actuated valve fitted so that you can operate the burner without lifting your hand above your head.
The Solo fuel system also has another unique feature - a fuel reserve in a single cylinder. The Solo envelope:
The Solo is available with a choice of envelope sizes currently including the V25 and H31 and they come as standard in the ultimate fabric for small lightweight balloons - Ultralite. This gives you the benefits of a high strength silicon elastomer coated fabric whilst keeping the weight down to the minimum. All Solo envelopes come with rotation vents for ease of landing whilst keeping the control lines free at all times for easy access and operation.
